Meanwhile back at the ranch........
Located on the mountains high above Osoyoos, Eagles Nest Ranch is a secluded, peaceful place to rest, relax and be renewed.
Along with ranching and firefighting we pastor Sidley Mountain Cowboy Church in Bridesville. Eagles Nest Ranch bordering Canada’s only desert is located just off of Highway 3. We have come to see it as a place where God and country meet.
A Chapel complete with Bell and stain glass window is nestled among the pines and Larch. It has been the site for several weddings and prayer days. We jokingly tell folks it can hold hundreds of people - twelve at a time.
Fire Fighting: We provide training and certification for Wildland Fire Suppression. We offer students (18 years and older) the full S-100 Wildland Fire Safety and Suppression course and can provide seasonal employment for successful candidates through Canwest Fire Services.
Horsemanship: We provide basic horsemanship training and work with young stock through a “trust” method of training. We have hosted 4H clinics and have built out buildings and an arena to better facilitate them.

IT
We would like to invite you and your church to a day in God’s creation. We simply call this ministry, “IT”.
Our past “IT” events have produced a wonderful harvest of encouragement as well as a deepened awareness of God’s presence.
Whether you come alone, bring your family, your church leadership team, or your entire congregation you will be pleased with the results. Perhaps like so many of God’s children you are longing for a fresh anointing, a renewed awareness of His voice. “IT” is all about waiting upon the Lord.
Our family would love to facilitate an “IT” event for you or your church. Please call us to see what we can design to help you and your ministry. There is no charge for partaking in this event, however, donations are both appreciated and necessary.

PRAYER CIRCLE
The circle of stones contains four openings (doors), each opening corresponds with the East, West, North and South directions.
You are invited to gather a small stone from the property and as you walk around the outside of the circle praying, place it among the others.
Some stones may be tear stained, others may be worn smooth from worry or fear. These stones will be a growing memorial of the prayers lifted to God, our God.
There are four straight lines of stones containing exactly 20 per arm (40 in a row, God’s number for our testing). There are 12 stones making up the centre fire, these represent the 12 apostles. You are welcome to light a fire in the centre ring if you plan on staying for more than a brief time of prayer.
We have received requests from brothers and sisters across Canada to place a stone for them.
Quiet yourself before the Lord and listen with your “good ear”, perhaps you will hear His voice in the quietness of the circle.
